macOS installation and setup
For Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, the reference includes nine clients: ClashX, ClashX Pro, ClashX Meta, Clash Verge, Clash Verge Rev, Clash for Windows, FlClash, Mihomo Party, and Clash Nyanpasu.
- Check chip architectureOpen About This Mac. M-series Macs use Apple Silicon/arm64 builds; Intel Macs use x64/Intel builds.
- Install the appInstall the downloaded .dmg or .pkg into Applications. If macOS blocks opening, allow it in Privacy & Security.
- Grant network permissionsOn first launch, allow network extension, system proxy, or VPN permissions and enter your Mac password if requested.
- Import and enableImport the subscription URL, update the profile, choose rule mode and a policy group, then enable system proxy or enhanced/TUN mode.
Tip: After switching networks or waking from sleep, toggle system proxy off and on, then update the subscription or switch nodes if needed.
