Android installation and setup

For Android phones and tablets, use Clash Meta for Android, FlClash, or Clash for Android.

  1. Install APKDownload an Android client from the download page. When installing an external APK, allow your browser or file manager to install apps.
  2. Import profileOpen Profiles or configuration, create a URL subscription, paste the link, save it, and update.
  3. Allow VPN permissionStart the connection and accept Android's VPN request. A key or VPN indicator in the status bar means it is active.
  4. Keep it runningDisable battery restrictions for the client to prevent Android from stopping the connection after screen lock.

Tip: If only some apps are not proxied, check per-app proxy rules, LAN bypass, or the app allowlist.
